Silvio Cioni
SHORT BIO
Silvio Cioni, born in 1974, is an Interaction Designer and Senior Consultant at IKS Coreconsulting. He is currently Adjunct Professor of Digital Media Design at the University of Siena.
He enjoys to develop projects about mobile interaction, physical tagging and social networking.
In 2007 he was the Coordinator of Design Department of Domus Academy.
In 2006 he coordinated the Master in Ambient Interaction at ARSNOVA - the Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences of Siena in conjunction with the University of Siena, and he obtained his Ph.D. in Telematics and Information Society from the University of Florence.
He was also a Design Consultant for Infoblu (Autostrade SpA Group).In 2000 he joined the Domus Academy while working as an Interaction Designer at DA Research Center in the area of Interactive Media and Services.From January 2002 to July 2004 he was the Coordinator of the Master in Interaction Design of the Domus Academy. Before joining the Domus Academy, he was a Research Assistant at the University of Siena with a focus on HCI and New Media design.He graduated in Communication Science from the University of Siena in 1999.
